Why choose Profhilo®? What is the difference with other hyaluronic acid fillers?

Profhilo® is a new form of fillers. It is an injectable product based on hyaluronic acid (HA) for the treatment of skin sagging.
With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market, it not only stimulates and moisturizes the skin, but also reshapes aging and sagging tissues.
Profhilo® produces great results. As a stabilized product, Profhilo® remain in the skin for about 28 days. During this time, the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin occurs through slow release of HA. The stimulation results in a significant improvement of the tissue.

How long does Profhilo stay® working?

Two treatments are usually sufficient for a good result.
The first repeat treatment can take place after a month. After 4 to 6 months you can repeat the treatment to maintain the results. This depends on the quality of the skin.

Has a Profhilo® treatment side effects?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. When this substance is injected, it is extremely well tolerated by the skin. The possible side effects of treatment with Profhilo® are mild swelling, redness and sometimes a few bruises. This is caused by the injections rather than the product itself and will soon disappear.
Profhilo® has been on the market since 2015 and has been widely used worldwide since then, with no side effects other than the above reported to date. This is due to the fact that it is a very pure form of hyaluronic acid.

Important to know! Do's and Don'ts

Precaution
Do not use alcohol or blood thinners/aspirin 24 hours before treatment.
As a precaution, we do not treat women who are pregnant or who are breastfeeding.

Aftercare
The skin does not require any special aftercare. You can immediately resume your daily activities.

Do's:

• If necessary, use an ice pack on treated area to prevent swelling.
  Or Arnica cream or other anti-inflammatory drugs as needed.

Don'ts:

First 12 hours:

• Avoid extreme facial expressions, alcohol consumption and makeup.
• do not perform strenuous activities and do not massage the treated area. Try to sleep with your head slightly higher for 1 or 2 days and try not to lie on the injected zones.

First 2 weeks:

• No extreme exposure to sun, UV light, freezing temperatures and sauna.
• After the treatment you can relax with a drink and if necessary with a cool pack to relax the skin.
  We also make an appointment with everyone after the treatment for a follow-up check, during which the result of the treatment is evaluated using photos taken in advance.
