What Is Surgery At DOCTORS AT SOAP?

The doctors at DOCTORS AT SOAP are specialized in PLEXR soft surgery. For minor surgical procedures and larger plastic surgery procedures, we refer to Esther Mesters from Cosmedic.

PLEXR soft surgery

The PLEXR is a kind of flash of light with which we create skin tightening. Perfect for slightly sagging skin around the eyelids (bottom and top), pigmentation spots and lip lines. All doctors at Doctors at Soap can perform this treatment. For the time being, the PLEXR is only available in Amsterdam.

Small surgery / small surgery with coagulator

With the coagulator, annoying small fibroids can also be removed. All cosmetic doctors at DOCTORS AT SOAP can remove benign bumps and spots with a cosmetic eye in this way.

Do's & Don'ts PLEXR Treatment

Indications and operation:

  • Reducing and/or fading of wrinkles, eyelid or eyebrow ptosis, acne, stretch marks, tattoos, benign neoplasia, scars and pigmentation spots.
  • A PLEXR treatment is a non-invasive, safe and effective method, in which the first skin layer is treated with a controlled sublimation, resulting in tightening and regeneration of the skin.
  • An anesthetic cream is applied an hour before the treatment.
  • It is recommended to take 1 gram of paracetamol an hour before the treatment.
  • After the treatment, a scab is visible on the treated area. The next day swelling of the eyelids may occur.

DO's

  • Protect the treated areas every day with the included foundation with SPF for 4-6 weeks.
  • A (slight) swelling usually disappears within 1-2 days.
  • Dab the treated area at night. Do not rub.
  • Use a day cream with SPF every day as directed.

DON'S TS

1st 3-5 days

  • Do not rub or massage the treated area. After washing, gently pat the skin dry with a soft towel.
  • Do not scratch the scabs (to prevent scarring). These should release on their own.

1st 4-6 weeks

  • Do not undergo facial treatment.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight and use SPF daily as directed (to prevent pigmentation spots).

Soft Surgery / PLEXR

Eyelid Lift, Eyebrow Lift And Lip Lines

The effect of the PLEXR treatment is first of all skin tightening: sagging skin around the eyes, crow's feet or upper lip. Wherever the skin is slack, we can tighten it. The precise flash of light makes the PLEXR ideal for small surfaces.

Pigment, Acne; And Scars

Secondly, PLEXR actually works like a kind of laser with which we can remove pigmentation spots and acne. scars (on the face and disturbing vessels on the ankle). Super handy!

Small Surgery

Sebaceous gland

Under local anaesthetic, our doctor will remove this culprit before you know it. And brushing hair goes without any problems.

Steel wart

Steel-shaped warts can be removed very easily with PLEXR. The PLEXR treatment is most similar to laser: with a small plasma current, the wart is removed quickly and easily. A scab will appear afterwards. And where there used to be a stalk-shaped wart, there is now an even mini scrape.

Birthmark

Disruptive birthmark without complaints somewhere on the body? But would you rather not leave it visible? With the PlexR we can easily remove benign moles. Afterwards, a scab appears which will come off within a few days. Sometimes a second treatment is needed for the best result.
